Hossein Fateh
Founder & CEO
Hossein Fateh is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of CloudHQ and was one of the original developers of the new asset class of data centers and he has continued to help shape the industry as tenants’ data needs evolved. Prior to the formation of CloudHQ in 2016, Hossein was the CEO and Co-Founder of DuPont Fabros Technology (“DFT”). In 2016, DFT was sold for $7.6bn. Between DFT and CloudHQ, Over the last 15 years, Hossein has built and operated over 700MW of data center space worldwide.
Hossein is passionate about philanthropy and giving back to the community. He actively participates on the following committees and boards at Georgetown University: the Executive Committee of the Steers Center for Global Real Estate, and the McDonough School of Business Board of Advisors. At George Washington University, he is an advisory board member for the Center for Real Estate and Urban Analysis (CREUA). He is a Member of the Research Council at the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) located in New York City and is developing a project with Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital in London.
Hossein has a BA in Business Administration and a MSc in Finance, both from George Washington University.
