Hossein Fateh

Founder & CEO


Hossein Fateh is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of CloudHQ and was one of the original developers of the new asset class of data centers and he has continued to help shape the industry as tenants evolved.. Hossein has over 15 years of experience developing and operating data centers. Prior to the formation of CloudHQ in 2016, Hossein was the CEO and Co-Founder of DuPont Fabros Technology (“DFT”). In 2016, DFT was sold for $7.6bn. Between DFT and CloudHQ, Hossein has built and operated over 700MW of data center space worldwide.

Hossein is passionate about philanthropy and giving back to the community. He sits on the following committees and boards: Center for Real Estate and Urban Analysis (CREUA), George Washington University, Executive Committee of the Steers Center for Global Real Estate at Georgetown University, the McDonough School of Business Board of Advisors, Georgetown University and is a Member of the Research Council at the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) located in New York City. Hossein is also working on a project with Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital in London.

Hossein has a BA in Business Administration and a MSc in Finance, both from George Washington University.
